A few days ago, NRW. Invest China/Nanjing held a forum on “introducing enterprises into NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia). Invest China/Nanjing” in Nanjing Jinling Hotel. Nearly one hundred representatives from enterprises, government and related industries in Jiangsu Province attended this forum. It is reported that more than one hundred enterprises are involved in NRW. Invest Germany by the end of 2016.
Mr. Sufeng Cong, vice president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiangsu Branch, indicated that Jiangsu Province has a close, friendly relationship with NRW. Invest Germany for almost 28 years. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will spare no effort to provide continuous support for corporations in Jiangsu.
Ms. Jun Xu, chief representative of the Investment Office in Nanjing for NRW, addressed the development and prospect of Jiangsu enterprises. It is reported that more than 900 corporations are investing in NRW Invest Germany, which ranked first in the German investment industry by the end of 2016. In particular, over one hundred enterprises have invested in NRW during 2011 and 2016. An increasing contribution of investment is from Jiangsu Province with several newly settled enterprises annually, which often ranked first among all the provinces and cities. Among them, corporations which are undertaking import and export trade has risen up to 80%. In the meantime, an increasing number of enterprises have set up storage center and after-service center. Thus, R&D and brand building has become an investment hotspot. It is expected that the exchanges with key investment fields such as digitization, Startups, automobiles, electric commerce, logistics and industry 4.0 will be enhanced in 2017.

Undoubtedly, NRW is the best place for investment and research on account that 72 top universities such as RWTH Aachen University and 13 Fraunhofer Institutes are situated in NRW.
