Two-day 2016 Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Summit ended successfully yesterday night. Yesterday morning, German guests went around Nanjing Future Network Town led by the staff of the Park. Please check for more details in the following parts.

First of all, German guests visited the overall plan sand table of Nanjing Future Network Town. Guests became more familiar with the current situation and future development plan of the Town thanks to the introduction of the staff. In fact, they were not only surprised by the size of the town but also were curious about the life zone settings for high-tech staff. Also, they were quite satisfied with the future planning of the town based on explicit explanations from the staff.
Based on the understanding of the overall planning of the town, German guests visited Fraunhofer Sino-German Technology Cooperation Center accompanied by the Park staff. Meanwhile, they examined the office environment and had a short conversation with the staff in this Center.

In the evening, the town hall was lit up, and the staff of the town held a farewell party for guests from Germany. At the farewell party, the staff of the park and the German guests gathered together singing and talking. All in all, the farewell party was warm and beautiful!

A business representative from Germany said that although it was a rare opportunity for him to communicate with the top talents in the relative industries, he regretted that he had not been able to deliver a speech on the stage due to the time limit. In addition, he mentioned that he would like to visit the Future Network Town again next year and seize the opportunity of making a speech so as to share some of his research in intelligent manufacturing.

"We are delighted to have this opportunity to be able to communicate with Chinese academicians in the intelligent manufacturing industry," said Mr. Stephen Kaierle, board member of the European Institute of Lasers. "The concept of this Summit is on theoretical research and I hope the summit in the next year will pay more attention to practice and products. Finally, all representatives indicated that they would like to come again and were looking forward to next year¡¯s Summit.
